In January of this year the Opera House in North Las Vegas issued a unique set of three chips. Only 150 sets were made. They are oversized (the size of many baccarat chips) and are No Cash Value chips. One chip is red, one is white and one is blue. They are pictured below. The chips are numbered, so each matching set is truly unique.

Besides being beautiful, one other thing makes this set truly unique. All of the profits…100%…from the sales of these sets, goes to the charity of the purchaser’s choosing. Depending on the charity chosen your contribution may be tax-deductible.

Initially this project was designed to raise funds for charities that work with those directly effected by the terrorist attacks of September 11th. The project was later expanded to include charities that benefit our military personnel. Finally, any charity of the purchaser’s choosing was welcomed.

At this time of year, all of us think about family and friends. It is a time to count ones blessings and be thankful for those things we all take for granted. For those directly effected by the attacks of September 11th, this may well be the most difficult and lonely time of the year.

To date we have raised $8,456. That makes me very proud. Our original goal, however, was to sell all 150 sets and raise a total of $14,000 for charitable causes. As you can see, we still need your help. Approximately 50 sets are still available.
