I've only been collecting for a few years and I got pulled in because I like Halloween and saw a few LE chips on ebay. Well one thing led to another and now I collect about 25 different topics, because they just pulllll meeeee innnnn.

I'm in NC so I don't get to the casinos. I buy mostly from the internet. I started at the 5.00 level and then spread to all levels as long as the picture on the chip has something I collect and I can afford it. I've only been able to accumulate traders buy occasionally bidding on a group of chips that have one that I want and the others just come along for the ride.

I keep meaning to go to antique flea markets to see what I can find, but I'd have to signoff of ebay to do that... Someday!!

I've always thought of a chip as if someone combined the color and artwork of stamps with the substantiality of coins. Good luck and collect what you enjoy.
