Thanks for the tips. Narrowing the field seems like sound advice. I'm particularly attracted to the colorful chips with cool designs like the limited edition chips (although I've seen plenty I like that aren't LE's). Maybe I'll start with those. I've just got this picture in my head of a shadow box on the wall in my office with a set of really cool and colorful chips on green velvet.

As a beginner, were there any particular chips that you found more useful for trading (i.e. that more people are interested in) than others?
