I must admit that I am not certain that it is from Las Vegas. The Rivera logo in the "Restaurant China" book (page 305) shows the stylized "R" with a crown on the top. The Jodi Stone auction book from 1996 shows a plate with the same logo but she adds the comment "This early logo suggests that this piece was one of the first types of china used in this strip resort." Since both logos have a crown it would seem possible but it is not conclusive. If you ever find anything certain, please let me know and I will do likewise. Even the Hacienda is not a sure thing - there was also one in Bakersfield.
