I recently blew up the motor in my Corvette and thought you guys might want to see some of the carnage. This is a scan of part of the bottom end at the rear of the motor. All those bits and pieces are what is left of a connecting rod and a rod cap. Those are the biggest pieces I could find in the pan, the rest of them went out the bottom of the pan thru a hole the size of your fist. Needlessly to say it's going to cost a small fortune to fix so I'm going to strat putting up some nice chips on keep an eye out for them and HELP to fix the 'Vette.
