I read somewhere that Nevada has an alien tax (no, not the ufo variety). If a non-resident were to hit a large jackpot, the state takes 25% off the top as an "alien tax" before you are paid. Never having hit a jackpot of such proportion, I really don't know if it's true. I do know of someone who won a Mustang and, as long as they didn't take possesion of the keys, was given a check for around $15K with the casino deducting around $5K. She also received one of those federal forms as well. Does anyone know if this is true?
