Below are two versions of the Colorado Belle (Laughlin) house $5 chip. The chip on the left is thought to be an early release, while the chip on the right is what is commonly available on the tables now.
I have been told, by cage employees (to include the Head Cashier) that the earlier version no longer exists at the casino, but there is no explanation as to what happened to them, nor how many there once was. It is possible that both were in-use early on.
Does anyone have the earlier version in their collections? Also, is it possible that there could have been a back-up set?
Thanks,
Jim Follis
