Artisans make things out of the Catalin chips. I bought a set of 100 in the 1970's for a few bucks at an Eastern Market and sold it the same day for $100...to a woman who made jewelry with them. The case was nothing special. As for whether chippers collect them, I don't know. I'm hoping Robert Eisenstadt will respond; he has a good background in these chips.
