Although it may not seem like much on the surface, I believe that this is a very telling situation.

The slot promotion COMP program at the Orleans has changed significantly. I suspect that the change is meant to suddenly show more cash-on-hand and improve the chain's chances of selling. The chain is Coast Properties and includes the Orleans, Gold Coast, Barbary Coast and Suncoast.

I do not know if the changes have happened at the other propoerties but they we announced to Slot Hosts last Wednesday and then put into effect this wekend.

The details are rather complex, but there are changes going on. I hear that Harrah's is the suitor.
