Remember, a lot of the small clubs didn't make fractional and dollar chips 30-40 years ago; they just used US coins; the quarter and silver dollar while they circulated, and later the clad quarters and Ike dollars. It's quite likely there wasn't a 25c chip at Club Bingo, and they may have used dollar coins on the tables as well. The only coin that became really hard to get was the half dollar.
I still miss the sound of silver on the tables and hitting the slot trays in the clubs today. Tokens never sounded the same!
