>>If you are going to promote drug use learn the terminology a "rail" is a line of cocaine that is snorted (up the nose). You can't be THAT sheltered! I'm laughing too hard to type!
First of all, I am not promoting Drug Use. I believe Drug Use should be legal, that does not mean I promote it. In your case though I recommend that you smoke some weed, it might losen you up a bit.
As to the terminology of a "rail" I have never heard that word used. I'm sure that in some places that is a common word, had you said "line" I would have immediately thought of cocaine. Quite honestly at least in this part of the country powdered cocaine use seems to be a relatively non issue. I do criminal defense work and I can only think of one case involving powdered cocaine in the past five years. Mostly I see crack, marijuana, meth, Ecstasy and actually quite frequently I see prescription meds being bought with fake prescriptions.
I try not to pick up the lingo.
>>>>By the way since you haven't noticed there ARE lots of drunk driving accidents in the world (every day even) that KILL many many people.
I have never said there are not accidents caused by Drunk Driving. What I said is that the VAST MAJORITY of people who drink do so responsibly.
You can punish those who do drink and drive while still permitting people to drink. I frequently represent people charged with DWI, and they almost always get a lecture from me. I have never told any of them to quit drinking. I tell them to drink if they want to, but to stop driving. I usually point out to them that the cost of a limo ride would have cost them much less than I charged them and they wouldn't have risked killing anyone. Our firm actually had a client who decided that he could not quit drinking -- he bought a used limo and hired someone to drive him to and from bars.
