I would have given her 10%. I think that's the gambler's code, too. She was correct in giving him to whole amount up front but out of common courtesy (and consideration for her trouble) dictates that he should have given her something. She obviously an honest person and is probably way too nice to be working for such a cheapo. Then again, my philosopy is that if I cheat someone, then someone definitely cheats me. Hopefully he was excited and when he calmed down, gave her something. If not, he won't have any luck.
