I back dated my Toshiba to 98 SE because I had to upgrade too many of my other software programs to work with Millennium edition.

Microsoft doesn't want anyone looking at their software to see what is in there. and they wsant you to upgrade every 2 Years. they don't ever seem to fix any of the problems that are built in.

Detroit wanted everyone to upgrade every 2 years also about 40 years ago.

That's my opinion.
