Yes. The whole story on his hot-stamped counterfeit chips came out after he died. Bill made his 35 piece, inlay set (7 chips each of 5 casinos) Starr Warwick Memmorial chips about 1990. He sold them to club members for $35 per set. Others in the series were made later. These inlay chips were never said to be authentic casino chips by Bill. He said that he had them made as a tribute to Starr, his live in girlfriend for many years.
