You've got to remember that these are auctions, not sales.

I have put some 30 to 40 coin lots up on ebay. 36 of them were put up for $1. One of those $1 lots brought over $1300. Others went for over $800, 700 etc. Currently 2 of my lots that are still being bid on are over $400. Both started at $1.

It's not what you put it up for that determines value.
