These didn't appear in any guides until 1998-99, but considering the age, also a mystery of sorts, they are older, probably early 70s according to TGC. The casino is listed as opening in 1972 and the new casino opened in 1982.
Here's the bind. The First Casino had chips "Red Lion Motor Inn" and I have found the same name on Roulette chips from the same era.
The new casino, across the street is "Red Lion Casino, Red Lion Inn & Casino, and Red Lion Inn. (never motor inn) But they had Paulson roulette and H&C molds on their roulette tables.
1) What are the two missing colors? Someone out there has to have seen these or has some in their collection. If not, I guess I have some "rare" chips.
2) Is it possible that, even though I got these from Red Lion Casino, Elko, they might have originally been from Red Lion Casino in Winnemuca instead?
Any roulette collector out there, or anyone who can help ID the location for these chips and help with the two mystery colors.
Of course if you have duplicates I need the missing two colors for my Elko collection.
On a real side note. Did old chips have light blue, pink, or tan pips, or did the colors bleed over the years to tint the white cores on these?
