Scott; NO, you would not be correct in that assumption. These chips are being produced for a two-fold reason. This is a joint cooperative project by the Trump Taj Mahal casino and the Atlantic City Chapter to recognize and to celebrate and commemorate the 15th Anniversary of the Casino Chips & Gaming Tokens Collectors Club (CC & GTCC).

The secondary purpose is to raise money for the club's building fund by attaching a $1 surcharge to each chip sold that will be donated to the Building Fund. If these chips were made available at face value, as you suggest) how would the Building Fund benefit from the sale of these chips by the Chapter?
