To take a look at what HTML looks like, just do a right click on the white space of this page and select "View Source". That is what HTML looks like. Its a series of Mark-up tags and allow you to change the look of text and also insert links and images, etc....

HTML is easy to learn. Pick up a "HTML for Dummies" book. (no insult intended)
