I was there once, before the whole town was dozed to make a nice big casino.
Pop's Oasis was a truck stop/diner. Finding the slot machines would have been harder than finding the 21 table, which was sitting off to the side as you entered. No one was playing, and I wasn't a chip collector back then.
Jean Nevada is now home to two casinos, Gold Strike, which is 1 Main Street, Jean NV. and Across the freeway, Nevada Landing 2 Goodsprings Road. Free shuttle between casinos.
Aside from the welcome center and the Nevada State Prison, there is much more left of Jean.
Both casinos have all you can eat buffets, and Gold Strike had all you can eat crab legs, bring a hammer and tools. Decent size casino for off the path. Both are around 36,000 square feet.
Nevada landing had a decent buffet, but they must have chased the chicken a long time before they caught it and cooked it. The Mexican fod was good. The bar at had shrimp cocktails and great hot dogs. Roulette table, friendly folks in the gift shop.
Jean is one of my regular stops if I'm in Las Vegas. It's a short hop and on the way to Primm, where you will find three more casinos, a tram between the casinos, more chips, and a roller coaster that is a real HOOT! Dice in the gift shop at Buffalo Bills.
