When you max the window, close it with the X when you can see it. If you close it from the task bar,by right clicking the icon on the task bar and choosing close, it usually opens the next time as a minimized window. A lot of people minimize the window, clicking on the minus sign, when they move page to page. There is no real need to. It uses the same memory weather(sp?) it is open to the max, or small.
