I sold most of my $5 LEs as a box of 100 on eBay. I took the most valuable chips I owned and sold them in the club auction. I have cleaned out just about every "old" chip in my collection, that a true collector might desire. Pretty soon I'll be down to over 10,000 "cheap chips" so the whole question of rare, restored, repaired or whatever, isn't going to apply to my vast accumulation of casino chips. (aka junk)
Yes, I collect fantasy chips and hope the scans will prevent someone from being cheated.
I am positive that I am totally against replica and fake rarities.
The chip in the image is actually an uncommon CA Cardroom chip. It wasn't listed in any of the guides. (I have three different books) After the three people who wanted one, got them, I'm left holding over 20 pieces of "dog meat" and sold off the three best. That's about as "RARE" as my chips get. lol
