That is one area in which you and I are not in agreement. I believe it should automatically be incumbent upon the party passing (trading or selling) an item to disclose any unusual conditions before the consummation of the transaction.
Before there are howls of protest stating, "caveat emptor," such a requirement protects everyone, both buyer and seller. This is a hobby, at least to most of us, and our transactions should be executed with all candor. We should not be acting in such a way as to cause our relationships to become adversarial.
