This is a continuation of the below thread, not a direct reply to you. I think things are getting out of hand.
If I can't clean and restore a chip by using Armor All, Windex or applying some oil to restore the finish, some of which I may have removed myself. It's getting a bit out of hand.
I don't support plugging holes, altering a chip physically, remaking brass cores, but if cleaning and oiling is against the rules, I'm guilty. (as are about 90% of the club members)
Maybe this is a move by someone to disolve the club, by making impossible standards, lists, bans and regulations. Then they can finally have the new name, that we don't need or want.
Did I break the new law? The red chip was painted black. The upper right chip is painted grey as was the green chip in the lower right, which I CONFESS I CLEANED A CHIP. If this is against the rules, it's total garbage.
By the way, I no longer own the chips, since they were previously unknown examples of ALS CA card room chips and Larry Eastman now has them in his collection. I bet he has removed more of the paint...
