I suggest you bite the bullet and pay the price for the online McAfee virus scan. About a year ago I got a virus. Took me three days, all day, on the phone with anyone that would talk to me. Finally got rid of it. Bought McAfee and haven't had a problem since. Norton is probably just as good, but i'm familiar with McAfee. They send me updates at least twice and as many as six times a week.
