I too had that problem when I was storeing chips in a binder. At a suggestion of a friend I switched over to AirTites to seal the chips from the air. It seems like the air around us acts the same on the inks (some kind of chemical reaction) as water acts on iron (rust). Since the switch no more fading. Check them out you just might have your chips to look at in 10-100 years down the road.
