All UK casinos still require membership 24 hours in advance, with photo ID (passport, driving license etc) when you visit for the first time. Most are free, but a couple do charge for membership (Golden Nugget in London usually charges £10). Haven't come across any that charge to enter once a member, but that doesn't mean there aren't any!!
