A co-worker returned from a trip to the Far East with this for me! He said that the 100 Rs is for Ruples and that means it was less than $2.00 US.
The chip is very worn and displays the same Chip Jam (black goop) I see on other well used chips.
I find it interesting that for such a low denomination chip (low in terms of US dollars) it has a security dot (at the 9:00 position to the inlay).
The co-worker said that there were three casinos in Kathmandu, but he could only get to this one. He also said that he and his wife were the only Americans in Nepal at the time of his visit (last week), although there were some Europeans there.
This is a very colorful chip and I am glad to have it. (Sorry, only the one.)
