Got a Canon... (lightweight - fast ... on sale for $100, but not a good deal if it won't work for me. I have enough issues with color! Never imagined my scanner would too!

IT DIDN'T MAKE sense: Parallel port works, USB's works fine (for digital), new scanner's great but won't do red... old scanner's dead but at least it wasn't picky...
