I agree 100%. These chips are not casino chips but rather a Cafe collectible. No different than a pin, shotglass, t-shirt, etc.

I have mixed emotions about these chips in general but I do think the artwork for the Halloween version is really cool.

I personally would like to see all the HardRock Cafes sell these chips at the Cafe gift shops. That would introduce "chip collecting" to non-casino type customers. Hopefully those customers would then become interested in other Hard Rock type chips, learn about the REAL casino chips, and then graviate to the real casino chip collecting hobby. Just a thought.

Although I have purchased all of the previous different variations since they have been for sale (I believe this is the fourth one to be released), I was going to stop buying them in the future. But I do like how the Halloween one looks so I couldn't help myself. I need enroll in a 12-step program!
