I also received the e-mail that Andy is referring to. I didn't do anything with it. I called my ISP { it was easier than trying to get through to Dell } and they also said it's a hoax. I also did a virus scan with Norton and also did one through "Housecall Virus Scan" and everything came up clean. This reminds me of the one they said was going around about a year ago. I don't remeber what it was but on your computer you had to go here, go there, etc. and you found a virus that had the symbol of a demon or something like that. Turned out it was a file that was suppose to be in your computer.
