Actually, Ozzy's a sweetheart. I've met him a few times, and the truth is he's far to addled from a life of abuse to be scary. His wife SHaron is the dangerous one. She once pushed a member of a major management company down a flight of stairs.

As for the bird -- the story is that he walked into a record company meeting wasted out of his skull. He had two doves in his pockets, which he planend to release to impress the bigwigs. At the last minute, he decided to bite one dove's head off. He was escorted out of the building.

A few months later, at a concert, a fan tossed a dead bat onto the stage. Thinking it was rubber, Ozzy picked it up and bit its head off. He had to go to the hospital after the show for a rabies shot.
