Janice, I'm in Jackson - about 150 miles north of the coast. Public radio announced just now that the state gaming commission is ordering all 12 coastal casinos to close tonight, the Isle of Capri in Natchez is to close at midnight, and the Vicksburg casinos to close at 2 o'clock (AM or PM?). I think that "surging tide" and high water is one of the biggest threats to the Biloxi area at this time.
