My daughter is at the MTV/VH-1 reality based show phase. I've seen "The Osbornes" a few times and he walks with a cane. If that is all the time or if it was for a special reason...I don't know.

However, I did have a self defense instructor that for a while required all students to bring a cane to class. They are a nice tool in a fight :)
