Although memberships of casinos in the UK are (usually) free, as with the Hard Rock, and you can apply either on-line or by fax/post in most cases, you still have to turn up in person with your ID in order to obtain a card and sign for it. This is due to the UK's membership requirements for casinos which (hopefully) will change soon. A casino that doesn't adhere to these rules would be in breach of these requirements as they currently exist.

I therefore suggest that Pedro is fine in offering these cards - I'm just waiting for the London one to open and I'll be along there for mine!!
