I emailed the seller as well got the following response:

Hello,

I appreciate your response back in regards to the Playboy Clubs and Casino's. I personally collect a few casino chips. Although, I must admit I'm not very knowledgable about the history that goes along with them. I've been to Las Vegas 3 times in the last 2 years. All I knew, is that there was no Playboy Club or Casino in the time frame that I was recently there. I had no idea that there never has been a Playboy Club or Casino in Las Vegas. I just assumed these chips were legitimate.

I had several ebay members contact me in the last day or so. Never was I intentionally trying to deceive the public on this item. Obviously, I'm not going to try to sell these chips again on ebay, due to there questionable origin. I have a great history with ebay and wouldn't want to tarnish my record over something like this.
