Drew Pearson came to ExxonMobil in Beaumont as a paid spraker for our United Way Campaign kick-off. He was kind enough to do a few autographs during his appearance (cards, footballs, etc). Just before he left he came to my office and we visited and as an after thought I asked for his autograph, but didn't have anything but a blank sheet of paper for him to sign, he opened up his brief case and had some of those 'hand-out' NFL photos (I suppose are used for signing). One he signed "To my good friend Robert Touts", the other two he just signed.
