According to the Press of Atlantic City story (See below) the Claridge as a casino/hotel would be mergered as part of Bally's operations thus ending the Claridge as one of the 12 Casinos in Atlantic City (After the merger there would only be 11 casinos), They would continue as a casino/hotel but would have to surrender their license to the NJCCC and the name would change to Claridge Towers at Bally's Atlantic City.
