I agree with you 100%. I said the same thing when I found out how many they ordered. Have you ever been to Bally's Tunica? (Robinsonville) It's a small dive of a casino. It really is out of place with the larger casinos in the area. All the casinos in Tunica have a table max of $5000 with the exeption of Bally's. ($1000 in craps and a very small $200 on the single deck BJ game) If Bally's saw 10% of the action in a weeks time Horseshoe gets in 1 hour they would shut the doors. Bally's is a break in joint used to train dealers for Sheraton and Grand. I also don't think they had any idea that people were interested in collecting the chips. They ordered enough to fill the game once. I tried to put a handful of chips in my pocket when I was there. That's when the casino manager, who happened to be in the pit at the time, told me that he can't let the chips leave the game. He was very polite about explaining to me the quanities that were ordered and that there were no more in the cage. I pulled half the chips out of my pocket and said ok.. Not a whole lot made it off the game. The night before they were pulled there were still at least $170 left on the game. I think a lot more would have left but the game was never advertised. Let's face it, not many people go to Bally's. It's a dump!
