I thought about the NCV when I posted. They could be a backup set. That logo (4 point star)was in main use from 1979 to 1994. (However, there are exceptions on that logo, our casino is currently using the 4 point star logo on the dice).

In the late 80's they were branding the Reno and Tahoe properties seperately for a while, so my guess is that the chips are from the early 1980's.
