It's easy to make a broad statement that the chips will not be made because someone called the NGCB. Then make at look like Rene is the victim, and the club is losing out on the donation, because "someone phoned and complained".
Read Rene's message, and don't read the fluff (smoke and mirrors) that's included. He says they were running out of time, and it was too much trouble.
I don't believe he claims anywhere that the chips were refused approval or that approval was recinded. He just says the chips won't be made and rambles on about other issues.
If they were refused or the approval recinded, on what grounds? A phone complaint is that powerful?
I didn't see anything illegal in the buying a complete issue and selling the same chips. We have seen a number of managed and controlled chip issues in the past. I don't like it, but nothing illegal?
