out of the car!!! BUT, if I had, I might have been abandoned! We didn't have enough time to go everywhere we went....but we went anyway, just didn't hang around long . We took I-80 from Reno to Wells, then dropped south on 93 to Ely. We spent the night in Ely. The next day we drove down to Laughlin. (Took 318 instead of 93 so we missed Pioche and Caliente ). I'm not sure how many miles that was, but it was a lot of time in the car! I told my husband I'd love to do that trip again, but planned ahead of time so we'd have more time (it was a spur of the moment decision).
If I'd had my TGT with me, and realized that there'd be questions, MAYBE I'd have done a little better! I'm scanning more casino pictures now, I'll post a link in a little while. You'll see that one picture was taken while we were going 80 MPH down I-80! There were other places that we passed and I didn't get pictures (Chinatown Casino in Wells was one I remember...it closed in 1988, but is still there...and it had a pagoda...and I didn't get a picture!)
Have you ever considered issuing a Gaming Table for JUST Nevada? We don't have room in the luggage for me to take all of our reference books. The only one I take is the C&W chip guide, because of the size. I'd LOVE to take a Nevada version of TGT, though!
Thanks for your help! Next time I'll try to remember that I'm a researcher for TGT, not just a tourist!
