I was simply trying to understand and respond to Gene's question about when a collector finds old chips. I feel once I sell chips at a certain level they will either stay at that level or higher. If the market drops on the chip, I'm stuck... I'm only talking about me (my chips).

I sell the chip seen below for $300. If you find a box and decide to sell them for $100, that's your business and I have no control over that. I'll just keep my $300 to protect those I sold to. In other words: I do not dump chips.

Have you not read my post where I've expressed being against any person buying an entire new issue from a casino (such as Rene planned to do)?
