Taking this at face value, ignoring all the fluff that surrounded it. They did not seek approval and they ran out of time to get the chips produced.

Don't blame some unidentified person who is claimed to have called gaming. If I read exactly what Rene has written, he decided not to have the chips produced.

Maybe Gene can fill in the accurate information as to how long it takes to get approval from GCB and how long it takes to get chips made after that?
