I thought this was a great idea, donating to the building fund and honoring some of the people who have been at the forefront of making the club better. I even wanted these for my collection until I read the post from Rene, explaining that his group would be selling then for $5 each. (call it admission, but after one admission, it's selling them!)

I don't know why it seems, anything Rene gets involved with, includes some twist or turn or somthing that is on the borderline of being called a scam. On the surface these chips honor club members, great idea. A portion of the proceeds goes to the club, another great idea. A nice $1 chip for collectors, I don't care about the design or the location. Nice idea.

Selling $1 chips for $5 each? Controlling the entire supply of chips? This stinks!
