I had just arrived at the Kansas City Airport and was due to fly out within the hour to Dallas for a business trip. My wife reached me on my cell phone and by the time I reached my terminal they had just stopped accept passengers at the gate (In Kansas City the airport is 95% unsecured and you go through security right at the gate). I watched with a room full of fellow americans the 2nd tower coming down on TV. We were told that all planes in the air were being recalled and that all flights were cancelled. After arriving back to my home that morning, I spent the rest of the day relaying information to my wife who works at a local hospital.
