In Portugal and some spanish casinos the french roulette chips are in different colours just to recognize from who the chips belongs to (it is easier to pay the winner bets).One of each player plays with different clours from another.
If you , me and who else more plays with same colour chips, and bets different number of chips on the same number(s)it is crazy to the croupier pay the prizes.Some years ago I was in Casino Kursaal San Sebastian, and they used just one colour with the same value. I could not understand how the croupiers could pay the bets.
In Portugal the casinos use different colours, or when they use the same colour the chips have different insert colours.Only Casino da Madeira has 1 euro with strips. In Spain some casinos use the same colour chips with cross, strips etc.or different colours.AZnother only a colour.
