I understand and appreciate your opinion for lessor quality chips. But we live in a marketing world where image is almost everything. If you had two chips one quality and one cheap and had a chance to visit one of the casinos, I'll bet the vast majority would opt for the casino with the quality chip. And, most of the time it is eye appeal that attracts us to a newer chip in the first Place.
