... chip (N7259) thru me, and to others who may be interested, the chips were not in anyone's hands other than mine once I (agent for the seller) received them from the seller in 1995.
I've noted in previous posts thru the years that I returned some chips to the seller because of lifting inlays and a warp. Where those chips directly traveled from that point (after returned to the seller) is unknown to me.
On 24 November 1995, in a letter to Gerry Newhouse (seller of chips):
"As requested, I'm returning the $5 HARRAH'S CLUB chip which was returned to me by ........... because of the damaged inlay. Also, as we both mentioned in the past, I'm returning the other $5 HARRAH'S CLUB damaged chip. I believe both these chips will be worth more (they were selling at approx. $100-$200 each at that time) than we realize in the near future."
The seller found 24 $5 HARRAH'S CLUB RENO chips.
