The crossing from Tampa will take 36-hours (4 trips per week) and cost about $100 one way; which isn't bad considering you're in a cabin for the 2-nite crossing. Meals are additional.

There is also room on the ferry for 126 cars in case you plan to spend a few days. The company (Yucatan Express) will add a new ship (year round) in 2003 to be based in Tampa.
