If I may, I think that you still have a good thing going, besides donating your time.

Captialism doesn't always have to start at the bottom. (S)he could start in middle management. If (S)he has capitol to start with, they could 'hire' you to buy the chips. [By hire I mean ask you to purchase specific chips.] Make them ask and do exactly what they do ask. That is take the whole PB & J exercise we've all had to do and follow it. If they say put the PB on the bread, take the jar of PB and put it on the loaf of bread. You may come back with the wrong chips once or twice, but they will learn a very valuable lesson - communication.
